Chickens lay eggs and eggs not only incorporate protein into kid's diets but also provide much needed cash to poor families.

With this money, families can plan for their future and purchase medicines and other necessities. 

The chickens are delivered to the recipient's home at 18-19 weeks old, at the animal's start of its posture cycle.
